So honoured to be apart of BARKADA MRKT this fall! Maarte Pabebe - alongside over 30 other Filipino and Asian artisans and vendors - will be tabling at the Parkdale Hall on Sunday November 5, 2023 from 10am to 5pm!
BARKADA MRKT (Barkada roughly translating to "group of friends" - think along the lines of clique, or team, or posse, etc.) is a collective that "celebrates and showcases Filipino and Asian owned businesses through pop up and events in the GTA." They've had a number of pop-ups events this summer and the November 5 event marks the start of their fall/winter markets!
We are so THRILLED to be apart of an event that celebrates Filipino and Asian owned businesses, as Filipinos ourselves! The Filipino community has some of the best hospitality out there, so we're incredibly excited to be apart of an event where we would be able to share some of our culture to the city.
Honestly, with all the good food out there, I don't know how we'll be able to stay at our table for long...
